This is a very important picture... thank´s of this picture we finally fount the bus... because we have one crazy hour... we thought they left us there in Croatia and came back to Slovenija because we could not find the bus, the people and the guide and we didn´t have any phone where we could call to ask or wherever... so sumarizing! the worst of the day: the organization of the trip but the park and Špela made the day a perfect day :)

Esta es una foto muy importante... gracias a esta fotografía finalmente encontramos el bus para volver a Eslovenia... porque pasamos una hora loca! pensamos que nos habían dejando en Croacia y habían vuelto a Eslovenia porque no podíamos encontrar el bus, la otra gente ni al guía, tampoco teníamos ningún teléfono al que llamar... resumiendo! la peor parte del día: la organización del viaje, pero el parque y Špela hicieron de este día un día perfecto :)

About Plitvička Jezera - Sobre los lagos de Pltvice
10.000 years old place... it is a natural creation of the nature because of the countain of the water in this place is special:
The lakes are separated by natural dams of travertine, which is deposited by the action of moss, algae, and bacteria, creating in this way the particularly sensitive travertine barriers are the result of to coexist the water, air and plants. The encrusted plants and bacteria accumulate on top of each other, forming travertine barriers which grow at the rate of about 1 cm per year.

Los lagos están separados por presas naturales de "travertino", depositado por los musgos, algas y bacterias creando las barreras de travertino resultado de la convivencia entre el agua, el aire y las plantas. Las plantas y bacterias incrustadas se acumulan en la parte superior, formando barreras de travertino que crecen a ritmo de 1 cm por año aproximadamente.
This is a place where you can find spectacular lakes (jezera), waterfalls (slap) and springs (pomlad). National park from 1949, classified World Heritage by UNESCO in 1979.

The area´s park is arround 30,000 hectares, 22,000 are forests. The area you can visit is in the center of the park arround 8 km ² of valley where nature has formed a landscape with 16 lakes of different altitude comunicated by 92 waterfalls.

Once upon a time..., (in the middle of a long drought in Plitvice, everyone was praying to Gods for rain), one day came a black queen with her entourage and She started to pray for rain, and then started to rain during days, weeks and months, and in that way the Plitvička Jezera were created because of the prayer of the black Queen, the first lake was: the "Prošćansko Jezero" (Lake).
Érase una vez..., (en medio de una larga sequía, durante la que todo el mundo en Plitvice rezaba a los dioses para que lloviese), un día llegó una reina negra con su séquito y empezó a rezar para que lloviese, y entonces emepezó a llover durante días, semanas y meses, y así se crearon los lagos de Plitvice gracias a la oración de esta reina negra, empezando por el "Prošćansko Jezero".
